Bhongir Fort
The courts inside the fort are fortified and are beautifully decorated. A moat encircles the fort. Then , there is an underground chamber, stables, wells and ponds along with an armoury. Interesting viewing indeed!
There is also a statue of Sardar Sarvai Papanna at the bottom of the hill. This statue is of a monarch belonging to Goud community. He was a monarch belonging to Goud community - a brave warrior who ruled the region of Telangana and fought bravely with Mughal rulers.

Bhongir town is situated around Bhongir hill (500 ft. high). The view from the top of the hill (from the citadel or Bala Hisar) gives you a glimpse of the whole city and looks quite mesmerising! Some people believe that there was an underground corridor which connected Bhongir Fort to Golconda Fort.
