Indoor Stadium in BhongirThe indoor stadium in Bhongir started functioning from September 4, 1998. It has the following sports facilities: Three Shuttle Badminton Courts, Table tennis table, Volley ball court, Kho-Kho court and Kabaddi court.
As per New Sports Policy-2000, the government has also issued directives to all schools to provide playground facilities to play at least 3 games. The Weaver Cooperative Hand loom Society was established in 1951 in Bhongir. There are hundreds of skilled weavers in Bhongir who work hard and produce Tie and dye silk sarees with attractive designs.
